Small Groups

Whitley Community Church has a number of housegroups which meet on Thursday nights, including a group which meets in the church, a group which meets in Whitley, a group which meets in Caversham & West Reading and from September a group which meets in Burghfield Common.

These groups are run by leaders in the church and consist of drinking tea & coffee, chatting, a bible study, some singing and praying for people’s needs. Groups will often do some kind of social activity like going out for a meal together every month or two.

Once a month all of the groups usually come together for a joint housegroup at the church, where we might have a guest speaker or just meet together to seek God as a whole church.
